Otecki moves on the borders of painting, graffiti, street art, illustration and sculpture. If he belongs somewhere, it's the skateboard culture. He prefers a wall to a canvas. He likes trees and wood. Trees are majestic and alternating, and wood is a constant process of creative destruction. As a boy, he dreamed of fantastic forest creatures and was afraid of them. Now, he draws from those childhood images. He often presents dualistic worlds and characters: human-animal combinations. Contemplatively obscured eyes adds majesty and mystery. He admits that cubism, tribal art and Slavonic folklore inspire him. But he makes no citations and defends himself against being labeled. He'd agree to name his style as personal folk. He calls himself a manualist. Anything he can, he does with his own hands, and tries to make it visible. Carve yourself, clean yourself, mix yourself and print it on your own ? that's where the magic is. And every piece of art, even ordered one, should be filled with Yourself, your vision and comment. Only then it gains power. His unpretentious manner lets him share with others his skills and knowledge about artistic craft during meetings and workshops.
